How the idea was born

It took ten years for Dhananjay Datar to open his second store in Abu Dhabi in 1994
             
“Back in the 80s, the only grocery store you would find in the UAE were the tiny shops which were mostly owned by some communities in India. These stores did not stock up on all authentic spices and ingredients from different parts of India. As you know India is a vast country with every state popular for a specific spice and ingredient.
"There is something unique to each city and state of India. But these local stores did not stock them. So my father thought why not have a one stop solution for Indian expats living in the country. Al Adil was thus born.”
